I started working for a local newspaper while I was in high school. That blossomed into a career with a Pulitzer Prize-winning paper, which, in turn, opened doors to news agencies around the world.  I've been published worldwide and have been lucky enough to have a photo on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

 

I'm a regular contributor to the Associated Press, Gannett and the Phoenix Business Journal. Among my corporate clients are Nike, MLB, WAC, McDonalds, NFL, Bloomberg Philanthropies and local businesses, such as Casino Arizona, Arizona Humane Society, Healthy LifeStars and several local restaurants.

 

As a sports enthusiast and photographer, I’ve been fortunate to shoot World Series games, Super Bowls and National Championship games. I’ve seen and done what many only dream about, and I’ll always cherish that.  But as I have progressed in the world of photography, other passions have emerged. I love images that are pure; I love seeing people having fun; and I love capturing that moment they can keep forever.  

 

My style in photographing weddings and taking portraits comes from a photojournalist’s approach. I observe and capture the real you. I also set up shots when the opportunity presents itself (family, sunset, etc.), but I’ve found that the truly candid moments are the ones that catch your eye and move your heart. 

 

In my more than 30 years as a professional photojournalist, I’ve learned to consistently adapt and produce pleasing images.  Thinking on my feet is one of my greatest assets and allows me to capture truly sincere and moving images for my clients. 

 

I’ve been told that my easygoing nature puts people at ease in front of my lens, and I take pride in that. I aim to make you happy.
